Bollywood actress Vidya Balan is the epitome of an Indian birth of Parineeta, a well-deserved break for the actor.

Vidya Balan is a Tamilian Iyer was born on January 1, 1978 in Palakkad, Kerala. Her father is the vice president of PRBalan ETC Channel whilst her mother was a homemaker. She has an older sister, Priya.

She studied in Mumbai at St. Anthony's School and later graduated in Sociology from St. Xavier's College, after which she joined for MA from Manila University. She speaks various languages like Tamil, Malayalam, English, Hindi and Bengali.

Pradeep Sarkar directed her in many ads and music videos for singers to Euphoria, Shubha Mudgal and Pankaj Udhas. She is also a part of the original episodes of Ekta Kapoor's hum Paanch.

Balan is associated with some of her co-stars that she was denied.

Lolita
Vidya Balan film's services in the South went nowhere. The first Malayalam film she has signed so-called Chakram with Mohanlal, which was put on hold and resumed later with a second officer. She was replaced by Trisha Krishnan at Manasellam, a Tamil movie.

It was not until 2003 she was recognized for her ability to performance in a Bengali film Bhalo Theko, where she won Anandalok Best Actor Award for her portrayal of Anandi.

In 2005 she starred in Pradeep Sarkar's Parineeta based on a novella by pug Chandra Chattopadhyay, as Lolita. Her performance won her Filmfare Best Debut Actor Award and Filmfare Face of the Year. Lage Raho Munnabhai, the sequel to every hit, Munnabhai, I saw her as Jhanvi.

In 2007 she marked her presence in the Guru as a woman with physical disabilities. Her other publications Salaam-e-Ishq to John Abraham, Eklavya's official access to India's Oscars, and Akshay Kumar in Bhool Bhulaiyya which is a remake of Malayalam film Manichitrathazu.

Kismat Konnection Vidya Balan in 2008 starring Shahid Kapoor and failed to do likewise.

Her only release in 2009, and is a hit. Balan's performance as a new age woman would be appreciated. She played Amitabh Bachchan's mother in the film.
