Sania Mirza (born November 15, 1986, Mumbai, India accommodation in Hyderabad, India) is a professional female tennis player from India. Coached by her father, Imran Mirza, Sania began playing tennis at age six. He was killed professional in 2003. He is the first and only Indian woman to reach the 4th round of the tournament grand slam in the 2005 U. S. Open. He is now the highest ranked female tennis player ever from India (She had a value of 42, his highest ever, at the end of August 2005). His original goal was to get the top 100 at the end of 2005, but he changed it to enter the top 50 after good results in the early years. (Maybe He's also helped by the fact that he has very few points to defend this year and so it is an upward journey in rankings.) As of July 2005, he ranked the 5th Asian women . His year-end ranking in 2004 was 206

"My mom took me to a car, initially refused to coach me because I was too small," said Mirza. "After a month, he called my parents say that he never saw a player that good at such a young age." [From WTATour interview] She is 5 ft 7 inches tall.



He has earned a huge fan following in the Philippines as she is one of the few girls from countries that have done well in the highest levels of sport. In 2005 he was awarded the Arjuna price of tennis for the year 2004. Impact he has two top 10 players, Svetlana Kuznetsova and Nadia Petrova. He was a sincere Muslim, who began playing tennis at age six.



Sania won the Wimbledon title Doubles Championships Girls' in 2003, teamed up with Alisa Kleybanova of Russia.
