Mumait Abdul Rashid Khan was born Sept. 1 to Abdul Rashid Khan, an ethnic Tamil Nadu, India, Pakistan and national Hasina Khan. There are four sisters, one of them called Zabyn has appeared in Telugu films in minor roles.

Mumait Khan was part of a dance troupe and took a chance on the number of Dekh Le item in medicine and surgery, DAT (2003). I also did a number on the agenda in Pokkiri Iqbal (2006), which established its name in South Indian cinema as well.
Then began to get roles in films such as Lucky: No Time for Love (2005), Chocolate (2005) and Fight Club: Members Only (2006).
Khan has worked in Tamil and Telugu movies too, such as Coach (2007), Puthrudu Lakshmi (2008), Villu (2009) and Kanthaswamy (2009).
